Naturn has its roots deep in northern nature.
Decades of experience in the design and manufacture of outdoor products, as well as thousands of moments spent in northern nature, have given rise to our unique story, where products are designed and manufactured with the environment in mind.
The clean lines of Naturn’s urns represent beautiful, modern Finnish design. The primary idea behind the design was to create a collection of urns that are as easy to use as possible and the most environmentally friendly choice in terms of material and manufacturability. The urns are made of organically degradable raw materials, such as natural wood and plant-based binders, which do not cause harm to the environment, even when buried underground.
The products are manufactured energy-efficiently using the latest manufacturing technology, where all the extra raw material is recycled back into our production. The products are packaged using environmentally friendly, recyclable packaging board.
Our products are designed to be as environmentally friendly and competitive as possible, down to the last detail.
Made of 100% plant and wood-based biodegradable material
Naturn urns are made of Finnish wood-based Sulapac® material, which is fully bio-based and degradable. The environmentally friendly and high-quality material does not release any harmful substances into the environment.
The high-quality material and optimal structure ensure the minimal use of materials and a lightweight end product. As a result, the carbon footprint of Naturn urns is very small, and decomposition is clearly faster than with traditional materials.
Naturn’s products are manufactured at our parent company Karhumuovi’s plant in Pori. All waste generated in production is recycled and reused in the manufacture of urns.
