Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases made through naturn.fi. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Finnish and EU law.

1. Who we are

2. Acceptance

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract, and that you accept these terms.

3. Products and pricing

We take care to describe our products accurately. Colours and finishes may vary slightly between screens and the natural material. All prices are shown in local currency and include VAT at the applicable rate. Shipping is shown separately at checkout.

We try to keep all information correct, but errors can occur. If we discover a material pricing or description error after you order, we will contact you and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

4. Your order and how the contract is formed

When you place an order, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement confirming we have received it. This acknowledgement is not yet acceptance of your order. A binding contract is formed when we dispatch the goods to you. We reserve the right to decline an order before dispatch, for example if an item is unavailable or the price was clearly incorrect. If we decline an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full without undue delay.

5. Payment

The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout before you place your order. Card and digital wallet payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments. Other methods offered at checkout, such as buy-now-pay-later or mobile payment services, are processed by their own providers under their respective terms. We do not store your full card details.

6. Delivery

We currently deliver to Finland and the European Union, with other destinations planned for a later phase. Delivery times and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when you, or someone you name, takes possession of the goods.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on most orders, as explained in our Returns & Right of Withdrawal policy. Please note that personalised or engraved items, such as engraved Usva urns, are excluded from the right of withdrawal because they are made to your specification.

8. Faulty or incorrect goods

If an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under consumer law; a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, as appropriate. Please contact us at info@naturn.fi with your order number and, if possible, a photo.

9. Liability

We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for misuse of the product. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability under mandatory consumer protection law.

10. Intellectual property

All content on naturn.fi – including text, images, logos and the Naturn name – is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory protections of your country of residence.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@naturn.fi — we want to put things right. If we can't resolve it together:

Consumers in Finland can seek guidance from the Consumer Advisory Services (Kuluttajaneuvonta) and refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta)
Consumers elsewhere in the EU can get free assistance with a cross-border dispute from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).
